DESCRIPTION: 
 This is a BLENDED ONLINE AND IN-PERSON CLASS. The links w
 ill be provided to you in the confirmation letter upon registration. Pleas
 e note that enrollment tends to be low during the months of October\, Nov
 ember and December and classes may be postponed if the minimum student re
 quirement is not met. You will then have an option of a complete refund or
  first priority in a future class of your choosing if your class is cancel
 ed or postponed.
  
 ALL BREAKWATER AQUATICS LIFEGUARD CLASSES WILL NOW
  BE CONDUCTED OVER 3 DAYS AND WILL INCLUDE A FRIDAY EVENING LECTURE FROM 4
 :30 - 9:30 in our classroom.

 Professi
 onal certified Lifeguards are required to carry both (adult and pediatric)
  resuscitation masks which we will use in class for the CPR and rescue sce
 nario portions.

 The 
 purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-
 level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent\, re
 cognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathi
 ng and cardiac emergencies\, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency
  medical services personnel take over.
  
 We have a strict cancellatio
 n and no-show policy. There are absolutely no refunds for no-shows\, so be
  sure of your schedule before signing up for our classes.
